The Family Academy of Bethesda provides age-appropriate activities for each of the following age groups from infants to kindergarteners. Our curriculum is designed around the child’s developmental stages. We encourage learning through structured activities.

Montessori Toddlers
Ages 2 to 3 years
Montessori House/Cottage
Ages 2.5 to 6 years
Pre-Primary & Primary Montessori classrooms follow the Montessori Method of Teaching: Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Math, Social Science and Geography are among the learning areas.
The Family Academy of Bethesda is a Licensed Private Educational Institution approved by the Maryland State Department of Education and a Validated Montessori School as recognized by American Montessori Society and Montessori Schools of Maryland.
Pre-K and Kindergarten programs follow the Montgomery County Curriculum.
